It is a privilege for SirajPower to be one of the companies in the private sector to sign the UAE Climate Responsible Companies Pledge launched by The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. We at SirajPower will continue to scale up our collective efforts to combat climate change by measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, increasing transparency, and by integrating sustainability principles across our operations to help achieve the ambitions of the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.

The signing event took place at the 5th National Dialogue on Climate Ambition (NDCA), in the presence of HE Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, under the theme ‘Building an effective insurance sector as part of climate adaptation and resilience management”.

The event witnessed the second round of signings of the UAE Climate-Responsible Companies Pledge which seeks to increase the engagement of the private sector in the country’s decarbonization drive in line with the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative. In addition to Creek Capital and 20 other signatories, nine more entities signed the pledge, bringing the total to 30.
