Al Serkal Avenue a vibrant cultural district in the Al Quoz industrial area of Dubai, and home to a community of over 70 contemporary art galleries, entrepreneur-led businesses, and community spaces across 500,000 sqft. Al Serkal Avenue has been powered by solar energy with the help of the 1.5MWp solar system fully financed, designed, and installed by #SirajPower, the UAE’s leading distributed Solar energy provider in the region. The state-of-the-art equipment spread over 4 warehouse buildings within the same plot at Al Serkal Avenue have a positive impact on the environment and the avenue, with the solar panels generating 2.5 GW of clean energy annually, offsetting nearly 1,800 metric tons of CO2. The energy savings output corresponds to having more than 215 million smartphones fully charged.
