SirajPower has successfully commissioned a 2.9MWp solar rooftop project at Al Tajir Glass Industries’ manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali Industrial Area. The solar plant is now fully operational and is expected to generate 4.6GWh of clean energy annually, offsetting over 2,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year, equivalent to nearly 238 million smartphones charged.
This project aligns perfectly with the UAE’s focus on implementing long-term sustainable practices, as President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has declared 2023 as the Year of Sustainability in the UAE. Furthermore, this initiative is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to promote sustainable practices and transition towards a greener economy in the UAE.
